Playa Juanillo
is synonymous with calm, casual and completely “coo.l” This bohemian corner of the world possesses a wide-open beach, crystal blue pool-like waters which extend between Cap Cana Marina and Sanctuary Cap Cana Golf & Spa Resort.
Location:
This tranquil escape is located at the eastern edge of the Dominican Republic, in Cap Cana, which is an ultra-luxury resort and real estate community. It is a mere 15-minute drive from the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) and a 30-minute drive from Bavaro on the new highway.
Access:
Playa Juanillo is open to the public and very easy to find. When you arrive at the security gate of Cap Cana, you may be asked for your ID. They seem to go back and forth between registering and simply letting people through without asking for their ID. Let them know you are going to Playa Juanillo. Motor scooters, conchos (motorcycle taxi) or cycles of any kind are NOT permitted within Cap Cana. It is a mere 15-minute drive from the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) and a 30-minute drive from Bavaro on the new highway.
My best advice is rent a car and go is not a busy high way is very safe and after getting inside capcana is a very beautiful view, another advice who I did the bough of the bought a Scape Park Tour and stay in Juanillo who is an amazing idea.
The atmosphere and places:
Playa Juanillo Little John’s restaurant and Scape Park, which has been awarded Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence where you can enjoy the International cuisine, sun bathe on the luxurious tanning beds and chairs or take refuge from the sun under the mini-cabanas and palm trees. International music is piped throughout the beach area to add to the ambiance.
